AIR FILTERS

An air filter is a device composed of fibrous materials that can remove solid particulates from the air. These filters contain an absorbent such as charcoal (carbon) that can remove odours and pollutants that circulate within the ventilation systems and engines.

Solid particulates include dust, pollen, mould and bacteria from the air, which can reduce the effectiveness of the vehicle's air conditioning and heating performance. Dirty cabin air filters reduce the airflow from the cabin vents, therefore it is essential to change them on a regular basis to provide drivers with a clean drive.
